UCIP Community is a community focused department of the Services Division. Our mission is to promote community in UCIP through fun and interaction.
Currently, UCIP Community is home to several projects, and has made several services available to UCIP:
- The UCIP Tribune – A member driven news site that includes news articles ranging from things that are SIM or UCIP specific, to items of interest out in the world at large.
- Job Boards through which members can connect and offer positions or services to others in UCIP.
- Star Trek Online Fleet – Our very own Fleet in STO for our members and for people playing STO to join!
- The Federation News Network – Working in conjunction with TrekOps, this is an In Character News Service for their In Character Universe.
- UCIP Forums – For discussion of any topics of interests for members of UCIP. Sub-Forum creation can be made on request.
- News Feeds / Blogs that can be made available on request if an existing News Feed / Blog does not meet the service requirements of the individuals requesting it.

Simple: We provide a backend solution that you, as the person needing the solution, will not have to install, set up, or configure. Additionally, by using UCIP Community Services, your users will not have to create additional accounts for additional websites in UCIP.
